The Horseshoe casino has started locking players from their Diamond rewards accounts stating that their computer algorithms show my account is not profitable to them even though I just achieved Diamond plus status. They state I just come in and collect the free gifts and free slot play. The casino is named after Benny Binion, whose family owned and operated the casino from 1951 (the year it was founded) until 2004. From 2004 to 2008 Binion’s was owned by MTR Gaming Group. From this transaction, Binion’s also lost the Horseshoe brand name. Today, it is owned by TLC Casino Enterprises the same company who owns nearby Four.

Wanted to make a thread to list some of the apps that you can play to earn real rewards at casinos. Please add on if there are any other useful Vegas apps. There used to be an app that would get you free drinks but I never used it. Any others?
MyVegas- I think everyone knows about this one. rewards have been going downhill for years but I still get a ton of value out of it for each visit. Doesn't work well for Vegas locals but for out of towners it is decent.
Binions- Their app has limited rewards. for 18k points you can get a $200 credit to binions steakhouse. You can also stack rewards with other people. I have been playing for a little while now and plan on using 3 rewards combined to pay for a nice dinner for 8 people next Aug. A lot of work for a little money but owell. Only stupid thing with this game is you do not earn your points when you play, you earn then when you collect your daily bonus and watch videos. I have been maxing out at 60 reward points per day which means I have to log in about 12 times in a day.
4 Queen- This one just went live yesterday. It is the same type of app as Binions. Their top reward is $200 credit to Hugo Cellar. You earn points the same way as Binions. Right now there seems to be a glitch so I do not know how it will shake out. Whenever you open the account they give you 100 bonus points. On the first time playing you can earn 180 points. When you log in the next day it thinks you are new and gives you the same bonus. I dont know if they will go back and correct this or just let it be, also don't know how long the error will last. I have 540 points after 3 days instead of the approx 230 that I should have.
Wynn- The wynn app is closer to myvegas in terms of play. You earn points as you play. The more you win on the slots the more points you can accumulate. They only have 1 reward available which is free rooms. There are very few blackout dates but they prices change frequently. The max days is 4 days in a row. People are reporting that when you use this reward you can opt out of resort fees but you then do not get internet access or the other things that those included such as fitness room
Comp City- This one is run by the las vegas advisor. I just noticed this morning that they have really reduced their rewards. I had been saving up for the big prize which was a stay at a hotel. May have been the Rio or something PLUS free dinner for 2 with Anthony Curtis. I was quite interested in this reward but it is gone now. Now the best reward is the LVA or a 7 pack of quick guides for playing VP. I have enough points to get those so I am not sure if I should just cash in or wait to see if the Curtis reward returns.

This all seems very time consuming for a tiny bit of value. How much time per day do you spend on these apps? If I did the math correct the Binions app is worth about $0.67 a day and you said you have to log in 12 times a day, this seems insane lol.

That is very true but...
It takes 45 seconds to do. to get to a $200 dinner it would take a combined 45 hours to complete. That is $4.44 an hour. That is more hourly than some of the APs make on this board.
But to be serious.. Time wise it is definitely crappy but I do enjoy playing the games when watching TV at night. I log in and collect the bonus then I play the coins at night while watching TV after kids go to bed. Next Aug we are coming to Vegas with kids and wifes parents. They do not do vacations ever and really cant afford to spend a lot. I am getting them a comped room and airfare for christmas/birthday. If wife and I each get $200 cert then we can take them to a decent steakhouse for free. We couldn't afford to spend $400 on a dinner so I think the value of taking them to a nice restaurant and letting them have that experience is worth more than the hourly. If I had a bunch of cash and could just take them then I wouldn't waste my time with this game.

You do know there are oodles of online casinos that give you free no deposit bonuses and spins where you can make real cash? You do have to send in a photo of your ID and proof of address when you want to cash out at most of them. If you look on LCB they have all sorts of special deals for members.
Aside from the free no deposit bonuses: I don't know how it all works, but you can also earn free chips when you post, rate casinos and take free bonuses using the LCB website. I'm thinking it must have been worth it because there was something about members being there and doing something just to get the free chips, apparently it wasn't appreciated very much by the LCB team.

New social casino app launched by Binion’s Gambling Hall offering quality gaming options.

Many gambling providers across the United States are choosing to create applications, be it for rewards programs or online gaming. Operators in the US are finding that more and more gamblers want to have access to options online, via mobile devices. As mobile usage only continues to increase, operators will only find more new and unique ways to offer special services to customers. From brand awareness to online gaming potential and reward earnings, operators use mobile applications to their benefit. The latest company to announce a mobile app creation is Binion’s Gambling Hall of Las Vegas. The company worked with Free Slot Games of Las Vegas LLC to create Binion’s Online Gaming App.

New Gaming App for Binion’s

Binion’s fun can be enjoyed from anywhere at any time via the Binion’s Online Gaming App. The creator behind the app, Free Slot Games of Las Vegas LLC, was also behind the social casino app for Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Free Slots option. With the Binion’s app, players can earn real prizes by logging online via a mobile device and enjoy slots as well as video poker games.

To access the app, players will need to use their mobile phone or tablet and visit Google Play or the Apple App Store, depending on the device. Once downloaded, players will be able to play games that were developed to match the games found by visitors of Binion’s Gambling Hall. The games found online will provide players with the experience of Binion’s without actually having to be on location.

There are several games available via the app including Deuces Wild Video Poker, Benny’s Billions, Jacks Bonus Video Poker, Vegas Dolls, Binion’s Double Double and Mystery Triple 7s. Binion’s worked with Free Slot Games of Las Vegas, a company that specializes in game design and consulting, to create the right atmosphere online for players to enjoy casino gaming. The company has plans to work with other casinos in the future to create similar apps.

Terry Caudill, the owner of Binion’s, commented on the new release by stating that the application is an opportunity for customers of the brand and others that enjoy online social gaming to be able to experience real casino games anywhere they choose to go.

Aspects of the App

Binion

As the app was created specifically for Binion’s, it offers special features. Players can use the VIP icon of the app to join the free VIP Club. As a member of the club, players will receive free coins upon joining as well as other benefits including VIP Monday Funday. Earn Silver Hats during game play and redeem the hats for real prizes in the Binion’s Store.

You can also earn Benny Bucks during game play. The Benny Bucks can be used just like cash when visiting the Store. As players enjoy the games available, prizes will be up for grabs including meals, hotel stays and more.

Social App Movement

This year has been a big one for social apps within the gaming industry. As only three states offer legalized real money gaming and Pennsylvania to begin offering such services next year, there is not much on offer in the US when it comes to playing for cash. With social casino sites, players can play for free and earn rewards, which are almost as good as cash. Operators who set up a social casino online are also setting themselves up for real money gaming if it were to come available in the future.

For now, many players have to settle for the social casino apps, aside from real money game play, but thankfully these sites are fun to enjoy and rewarding.
